Raising lambs has been a passion of David’s for many years, and he has decided to take the business a step further by marketing his lamb meat directly to the consumer instead of selling his lambs at weaning time. As a multi generational agriculturist, and shepherd, David is realizing the desire that consumers have to know where their food is coming from, that it is safe, and that it is sustainably produced to help maintain future supplies. David engages in grazing practices that help maintain and improve pastures. He has participated in rotational grazing with other species in efforts to make pasture lands more efficient and continuing to evolve his feeding operations to increase efficiency and sustainability.
